4月14日、国際サッカー連盟（FIFA）が主催する『FIFA 19』を使用した国別対抗eスポーツ大会「FIFA eNations Cup」は決勝戦が行われ、フランス（Daxe選手とMaestro選手のペア）の優勝で幕を閉じた。
史上初めての開催となる同大会は、FIFAが世界各国のサッカー協会と連携し20カ国を招待。13日より2日間にわたり、ロンドンSky Studioにて熱戦が繰り広げられた。以下、「FIFA eNations Cup」大会公式Twitterを引用して、大会2日目（決勝トーナメント～決勝）の模様をお伝えする。

出場した20ヶ国のうち、グループステージを突破して、準々決勝に進出した8ヶ国。実際のサッカー国際大会準々決勝へ進出する国々と、まるで変わらない様相だ。

■UEFA eChampions League、まもなく開催
今シーズンのFIFAグローバルシリーズも、いよいよ終盤戦。4月26日より、「FIFA eWorld Cup 2019」に繋がるプレイオフ大会前、最後の大型大会「UEFA eChampions League」がマンチェスターで開催される。日本から、ナスリ選手とジェイ選手（BLUE BEES所属）が出場予定だ。
