Honoured to be a candidate for the IOC Athletes Commission. It was a very strong field of candidates and I wish my successful fellow Olympian all the very best with their important work on the Commission. I'm disappointed not to be joining them but more importantly I look forward to working with them and with the whole Olympic family in my role as Sports Director of Tokyo 2020.
