「MLBドリームカップ2017 supported by XEBIO Group」全国決勝トーナメントが宜野湾市立球場で開催され、関東地区代表の東京バンバータ（東京A代表）が優勝した。
「MLBドリームカップ」は、軟式野球の頂点を目指して戦う大会だ。2017年は、全国から819チームがエントリー。全国決勝トーナメントは11月25日（土）、26日（日）に行われ、出場チームはMLB公認ユニフォームを着用して戦った。
都道府県予選を勝ち抜いた地区代表は8チーム。関東地区代表の東京バンバータ（東京A代表）は、東海地区代表のSEVEN’S（岐阜代表）、九州/沖縄地区代表の中村造園（熊本代表）を下して決勝まで勝ち上がった。
東北地区代表の東北銀行（岩手代表）は、中国/四国地区代表のUPSET BASEBALL（広島代表）、北信越地区代表のIMSHOT（石川代表）を下して決勝に進出した。東京バンバータと東北銀行による決勝は、16-0で東京バンバータが勝利。東京バンバータが優勝を決めた。
大会MVPには、3試合で11打数6安打9打点の成績を残した東京バンバータの千田隆之が選出。ベストナインは、決勝を含む2試合完封の東京バンバータの亀谷孝一郎らが選出された。
大会会場には、スペシャルゲストとして、MLBピッツバーグ・パイレーツでも活躍した桑田真澄、MLBタンパベイ・レイズなどで活躍した岩村明憲が登場。2人が講師を務める「ベースボールクリニック supported by スーパースポーツゼビオ」も開催された。
全国決勝トーナメント各試合ダイジェスト映像は、公式サイト、公式Facebook、スポーツブル等で公開中だ。
